Dog Legs: May 7 1:35pm, Rigby ID, f3.4, 1/30, Cannon PowerShot SX130

Note: I edited all my picture on this post with Lightroom. I really like it because its so quick and easy to use. I liked this picture because I felt the dog made an interesting frame. He also blends with the carpet and I thought that was awesome.

Flower Feet: May 7 2:21pm, Rigby ID, f3.4, 1/250, Cannon PowerShot SX130

I love the idea of flowers with something else behind it. I wanted to get a sense of spring time so I put my friend Kendl in the back ground. Also her blue toes and pants made a good contrast for the yellow flowers. I love the old bench too.

Flower Profile: May 7 2:21pm, Rigby ID, f3.4, 1/640, Cannon PowerShot SX130

I placed the bench here and had her sit on top of it. I got down in the dirt to get a good angle and used the rule of thirds.

Boy in Bush: May 7 2:25pm, Rigby ID, f3.4, 1/250 Cannon PowerShot SX130

This was Kendl's nephew and he wanted to play with us. So I gave him a camera and was taking pictures of everything. So I placed him in the flowers because of the contrasts of the blue camera and his boyish innocents adds to the fauna.

Rustic Bench: May 7 2:29pm, Rigby ID, f8, 1/60, Cannon PowerShot SX130

I used the rule of thirds for this. I love old look of this bench. Also I knew green and red are complementary colors.

Bunny Food: May 7 2:35pm, Rigby ID, f3.5, 1/200, Cannon PowerShot SX130

I used a depth of focus to get the naughty bunny. He scratched us as we picked him up. Hard subject to get a good shot on. But persistence equal success.

Howling Pooch: May 7 1:35pm, Rigby ID, f4, 1/320, Cannon PowerShot SX130

This dog was barking up a storm. I guess he thought  I was gonna kill his family. So I stuck the camera lens through the metal gate and took a bunch of shots. I finally got him howling at my and love the picture. It has a great depth of field and nice motion.

Running Free: May 7 2:48pm, Rigby ID, f4, 1/1250, Cannon PowerShot SX130

I saw a grassy knoll and laid down to capture this dog running around. I though his white coat would contrast nicely with the green grass.

Carpet Head: May 7 3:04pm, Rigby ID, f4, 1/40, Cannon PowerShot SX130

I found it interesting that the dog look really similar to the carpet. So laid down with him and went for a angel that would make it look like his head just popped out of the carpet. I love the effect and blend. And the background red made a good accent to the picture.

Under Belly: May 7 3:05pm, Rigby ID, f3.4, 1/30, Cannon PowerShot SX130

This was another variation on the dog-legs frame.

Dog Legs: May 7 3:05pm, Rigby ID, f5, 1/5, Cannon PowerShot SX130

I love how the light came through the window I used its natural light to capture this one. And I also went for a triangle shape which is aesthetically pleasing.
